Cancellation And Refund Policies

At Hotel Jacobsen, we understand that travel plans can change. We aim to keep our cancellation and refund process fair, clear and convenient for our guests.

Cancellation

Guests may cancel or modify their reservation by contacting Hotel Jacobsen as soon as possible. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time may be made without a cancellation charge.

Late Cancellation and No-Show
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before check-in, or failure to arrive without prior notice, may attract a charge of up to one night’s accommodation. Special rates, promotions, group bookings or non-refundable bookings may have different terms, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

Refunds
Where a refund is applicable, it will normally be made using the original payment method. Refunds may take 3–10 working days depending on the payment provider or financial institution. Any applicable transaction or processing charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.

Early Departure

Guests who leave before the confirmed check-out date are generally not entitled to a refund for unused nights unless otherwise agreed by management.

Hotel Cancellation

If Hotel Jacobsen cancels a confirmed booking for reasons within its control, the guest will be offered an alternative arrangement or a refund of the amount paid for the affected accommodation.

Force Majeure

In circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the hotel, including natural disasters, government restrictions or other exceptional events, the hotel may offer rescheduling, credit or refund depending on the circumstances.
